In my hectic life,
in this always-go world,
where it's "every man for himself,"
"dog eat dog,"
and "survival of the fittest,"
remind me that there are people out there
who don't have the money,
the food,
a home,
a family,
your hope.
Help me to remember
that serving the least of these
is really serving You.
But,
not only that, Lord:
those people that get on my nerves,
the ones that talk to much,
the ones that have lost their common sense,
the ones that complain constantly,
the ones that give me a hard time, all the time,
the ones that seem like they don't care about anything,
the ones that just plain tick me off---
they're Your children too.
They are Your precious creations.
You have a plan for them just like you have a plan for me.
Help me to see them in a different light,
just as I should see the poor, rejected, and hurting.
Lord, please-
change how I see.
