9-year-old worship

I work with kids all summer at a bible camp and have seen a lot of different churches and heard many different experiences that my campers have had at church. Often we as adults forget to consider what a worship service (or any event, for that matter) might look like to a kid.

"What might we learn by viewing our worship gatherings through the eyes of a child? What values are we implicitly communicating by our spaces, music, and liturgy? What do we hope people leave with?"

Here's an article about the perpective of a nine year old when it comes to what first impressions a "normal" worship service can make and what sticks out as important.
