shadows lengthen into night

one of the hymns we sang at our Maundy Thursday service this year captivated me.

it beautifully tells the story of Jesus and his disciples
from the Last Supper
to the Crucifixion.

I decided I'd make my own version,
transposing it to meet my guitar-playing abilities,
changing the meter from 3/4 to 5/8 and 6/8, making it unsettling,
and using GarageBand to adjust levels and add effects.

take a listen.
