This morning at church, the way the sun shone through the stained glass window above the prayer chapel (the old chancel area) really took me aback. I didn't get a picture of it, but here's one of my favorite and inspiring windows at All Peeps.
This window shows a sort of prophetic vision of the importance of our core value of "kids first".
It's from the original congregation that inhabited our church building, Epiphany Lutheran.
Even then, since the building was built in 1909 (though I don't know when the windows were added) and back in Jesus' time as the picture depicts, kids were recognized as important.
May this continue to be so.
