LPaD 16: earth(ly)

when I survey the world around me in places like this

Cascade Mountains, WA

I remember how small I am
and what a small part I am
on this big earth

a single thread on a tapestry
though its color brightly shine
can it ever see its purpose
in the pattern of the grand design

I remember how big God is
and how big God's love is
even for me
just one person
on this big earth.
