LPaD 34: rise

Today, the word rise reminds me of the song "Rise Up" performed by Agape and Rachel Kurtz, both of whom I've gotten to see perform multiple times this year.  This picture is from the Lutheran college tour I took with the Greater Milwaukee Synod in October 2012.

Rise Up Together is the theme for the 2015 ELCA National Youth Gathering in Detroit.
There's real power in knowing that together, with God's help, we can rise up, make a difference in the world, and show the world what God's love looks like.
