Skyping with my old friend from high school and growing up is definitely fun.  (For the record, she's not old, we've just been friends for a long time, though technically she is older than I am.)
We've been continuing a long distance friendship since I left for college almost six years ago (woah...that makes me feel old!).  Besides hanging out when I do get home, we have a fun time with our Skype dates and other forms of communication.
It's always good to catch up, share what's going on in our lives, offer advice, and have some laughs.
